Dr. O’Connor has a wetlab space in the building directly adjacent to the Psychology Department.
The main room of the wetlab contains a 20 cubic foot -80 Celsius chest Thermo Scientific freezer, with CO2 and phone line backup. An adjoining room contains a bench for aliquoting saliva and blood samples, a refrigerated Fisher Scientific centrifuge, -20 Celsius freezer and refrigerator. The wetlab includes a separate room for supply storage, including reagents, assay kits, etc. A second, separate room in the wetlab is designed for a research coordinator, with a telephone and file storage, and space for a desktop PC with access to the LAN server, and a printer/scanner.
